may reading goals
About halfway through my first pass through NIGHT SOIREE! And, mostly enjoying the editing process. This is what I'm also reading this month:
A GOOD GIRL'S GUIDE TO MURDER, GOOD GIRL, BAD BLOOD: I flew through these. I had been reading A LOT of fantasy which I always love, but this was such a nice change of pace. I cannot wait to get my hands on AS GOOD AS DEAD. Ravi and Sarge forever.
THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON: This is beautiful and imaginative and heartwarming. I'm trying to read more MG books (research for my own idea!), and this sets the bar so incredibly high.
ECHO: I'm starting this after THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON and I could not be more excited.
JEFF ZENTER BOOKS: Somehow, I've never read one of his books, and once I finished THE SERPENT KING, I had to read everything he's ever written. The southern settings are so well done (as someone who grew up in the south). Next up: RAYNE AND DELILAH'S MIDNITE MATINEE and GOODBYE DAYS.
What have you been reading that you love?! Anything outside of your preferred genre?!
