week two writing schedule
Heading into the second week of 2022, working on the new writing schedule: Eternal Night Soiree in the morning, Protectress in the evening, plus Beatrix Bobbit somewhere in between. Aside from one teensy slip up where I said Beatrix Bobbit instead of WORKOUT (while explaining the workout for the day) it's going really well.
All three are such different projects at such different stages, it's easier to jump between them at will. For me, it does really help to have dedicated times of day that are for one particular project. Since my brain feels really fresh in the morning, I like diving right into Eternal Night Soiree to knock out first draft pages.
Then, at the end of the day, after thinking a lot about what I'm working on in Luna's story, diving into the Protectress with a plan. For working on a particular scene or adding new scenes, by the time evening rolls around, I'm super prepared to sit down and work on whatever I've planned throughout the day.
So, that's my two week check in for how to work on multiple writing projects at once. At least, this is what's been working for me to build new routines.
I'd love to hear what's working for you?! And what you're writing!
